On April 19, 2016 Sister
Geri Struempler and Elder Richard Struempler received a calling from President
Thomas S, Monson to serve as missionaries of The Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints, assigned to labor in the Japan Fukuoka Mission for 18 months.
Our primary assignment is to labor in the Iwakuni MCAS Military Installation as military relations specialists. A major focus of our assignment is to work with single men and women of the Armed Forces and also be of support to families during deployments and long periods of family separation during their military service, working through local church leaders.
We are extremely excited about this opportunity to serve.
